About Small Beauties

Small Beauties was established in 2003 by the artist Jackie Henshall, initially producing greeting cards and prints, but now almost entirely given over to papercraft. Operating out from a renovated woollen mill, set in theWelsh countryside, we design, produce and distribute over 250 papercraft products throughout the UK, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Australia and NewZealand.

About the Artist

Jackie Henshall (B.A. Fine Art Painting, Central College of Art and Design, London) exhibited for many years as a landscape painter in East Anglia, painting the salt marshes of Suffolk and Norfolk. Since moving to Wales she has become a digital and mixed media artist, using photography to gather the raw materials to paint with pixels and pastels. Having a love of the natural worlds, her designs are full of imagery drawn from the woodland, seashore, hedgerows, meadows and gardens all around her. In such a beautiful setting as Wales it is easy to be inspired.  Jackie also exhibits as an artist in the UK and Germany,  most recent one woman shows at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney, and Waunifor.
